The King Street Transit Pilot between Bathurst Street and Jarvis Street aims to improve transit reliability, speed, and capacity. The two routes that run along King moved a combined 71,000 riders per day prior to the pilot. This is more riders than any other surface route, the Sheppard Subway, and the Scarborough RT.
Thanks to months of organizing together — holding rallies, educating and mobilizing transit riders, making deputations, and calling and sending emails to our elected officials — TTCriders, the Fair Fare Coalition, and our allies have won some major transit victories in the 2018 City Budget!

Volunteers converged at more than a dozen TTC stops and stations across Toronto, to mobilize riders and educate them about the transit issues at stake in the City Budget.

Yesterday the City Budget Committee approved two of our three key transit demands in this year's budget: the low income Fair Pass and two-hour transfers!
