TTCriders is campaigning for the Fair Pass to be fully funded, for an expansion of free transit to people receiving social assistance and high school students, for free transfers between the TTC and GTA agencies, and much more!
Have you been waiting longer for your bus, streetcar, and subway? Service cuts made during the pandemic have not been fully restored. That is why TTCriders is campaigning for a corporate parking levy in Toronto for the TTC, and a new transit funding model from all levels of government.
Toronto has a plan to speed up buses and streetcars, but the RapidTO program is stalled. Take action to speed up bus lanes and traffic signal priority in Toronto! Toronto’s first RapidTO project on Eglinton East, Kingston, and Morningside improved travel time and reliability, and the King Street Transitway increased ridership.
The Scarborough RT derailed in 2023. TTCriders has been campaigning to convert the RT corridor into a bus-only roadway, so replacement shuttle buses save up to 10 minutes in each direction.
TTCriders campaigns for fully accessible TTC and Wheel-Trans service. But some Wheel-Trans users will soon be forced to use the conventional transit system as the TTC seeks to restrict full door-to-door access as a cost-saving measure (also known as the “Family of Services” program).
