Pledge to vote for Transit

Toronto will vote on October 26 for Councillors and the Mayor for the next four years. Candidates can begin registering to run for election starting on May 1.

Over one million Torontonians take public transit every single day - more than Chicago and Washington put together - and that number is growing. Transit riders are not a constituency that can be ignored.

Let's make sure that all City Councillor and Mayoral candidates support better public transit!

Sign our Pledge to Vote for candidates who will:

  • Fund more frequent transit across Toronto
  • Prioritize reliable service that people can depend on
  • Fund more affordable transit and advance initiatives like Fare Capping and the Fair Pass
  • Fund more accessible transit and protecting door-to-door Wheel-Trans trips
  • Approve expansion of the transit system
  • Expand community safety on the TTC
  • Approve tools to increase funding to support the TTC

TTCriders will soon be circulating a survey to all candidates to secure commitments for better public transit and publishing those commitments here.

Will you sign?

Pledge to vote on October 26, 2026 for mayoral and city councillor candidates who will make transit better.
