Support More Funding for TTC Operations

At this Wednesday's TTC Commission meeting there is a motion to ask City Council for additional funds needed to improve transit service on several overcrowded routes. The TTC has finally recognized they need to operate more service to meet the needs of the incredibly increasing number of riders.

The report on this request can be found here:  ADDITIONAL OPERATING RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS TO MEET INCREASING TTC RIDERSHIP

We need the Commissioners to pass this report and for Council to approve the $2.1 million needed to allow increases in TTC operations.

If you'd like to speak on this item at Wednesday's meeting you can email the TTC's General Secretary at [email protected] and ask to be put on the speakers list. (Please also CC [email protected] so we know you are coming.)
