Who should win our transit champion award?

Each year we give out two awards at our Annual General Meeting, which will be held on May 26, 5.30pm - 8.30pm at 25 Cecil Street. The award

recognizes the hard work its recipients have made to create an affordable world class public transit system. At least one of the wards goes to an unsung hero or a volunteer in our community. Past recipients include Helen Liu from the Toronto Chinese Seniors Association, Andy Byford, CEO from the TTC, and City Councillor Joe Mihevc.

Please use this form below to nominate someone who deserves to be recognized before May 15. Nominations of unsung heroes are encouraged. Our board will review your suggestions and announce the award recipients at our AGM.

Riders Call for Dedicated Transit Priority Lanes on Dufferin and Bathurst

Toronto — Transit riders gathered this morning at Dufferin Subway Station alongside TTCriders, the Toronto Environmental Alliance (TEA), and Environmental Defence Canada (EDC) to call on Toronto City Council to implement long-promised dedicated transit lanes on Dufferin and Bathurst streets.
