Over a year ago the City, in response to our pressure, agreed to come up with a plan to make the TTC more affordable for low income riders. Now the report is returning to City Hall.
This is our chance to get free fares for people on social assistance, and $50 fares for people on low incomes.
Help us talk to riders about this opportunity. Sign up to canvass riders at a TTC stop or event near you during our week of action from Monday May 16 to Friday May 20. You can choose a time that works for you during that week. We have clip boards, petitions, and awesome postcards for you to pick up at 720 Bathurst St. We can also help you find a buddy to canvass with.
