The provincial budget day was just announced, and the timing couldn’t be better. The budget will be tabled the day after TTCriders’ Sardine Ride and Rally on March 27 to call for more provincial funding for the TTC. This is a key time to take action for better transit, because this is the last budget before the election.
The TTC is the least-subsidized transit system in North America. It's time for Kathleen Wynne and our MPPs to fairly fund the TTC in the upcoming provincial budget, so riders get better service and lower fares.
