Every year we give out two awards at our Annual General Meeting, being held this year on Thursday June 14 from 6:30-8:30pm at 452 College St.
The award recognizes the hard work its recipients have made to create an accessible, affordable world class public transit system.
At least one of the awards goes to an unsung hero or a volunteer in our community. Past recipients include Helen Liu from the Toronto Chinese Seniors Association, City Councillor Josh Matlow, and Brenda Thompson, founder of Scarborough Transit Action.
