Hi, my name is Alim Nathoo. I am very passionate about transit issues especially in the areas of affordable fares, fiscal responsibility, as well as advocating for accessibility along with diversity. While I was living in Kitchener, I went to a Regional Council meeting and proposed that respect signs were put on the GRT Transit buses which they received support from Council and former GRT Director Eric Gillespie. I also believe residents need a greater say in their transit issues and people should be able to go to City Hall and talk about the issues without the run around.
