TOinTransit: TTCriders score Chow’s transit plan the highest

Inside Toronto covers our report card! Thanks Rahul.

The transit advocacy group TTCriders has set its sights on the mayoral race and released a report card grading the transit improvement plans of the main three contenders John Tory, Doug Ford and Olivia Chow.

Available via the group’s website, the group rates Ford’s pro-subway platform the lowest, taking to task his city council record, voting for TTC service cuts and supporting fare hikes. Tory also scores poorly for his SmartTrack plan, of which many questions remain unanswered.

Of the three candidates, Chow scores the highest, but the group wants more clarity in regards to lower fares and immediate service improvements. You can read the entire report card here.
