To summarize, we believe that the province should raise funds for transit expansion through progressive revenue tools (meaning poor people don't disproportionately pay more). The province could easily raise funds for transit by restoring corporate taxes to 2010 levels and raising income taxes on the wealthy. We are also calling for the province to raise funds for the TTCs operating budget so we can get great transit today while we wait years for the transit of tomorrow to be built.
