Metro News: Transit riders group seeks seat on TTC board

Metro News' Luke Simcoe is right on when he says that TTCriders seek a seat on the bus and the TTC Commission. Luke wrote about our application to sit on the TTC Commission as a citizen commissioner on March 9, 2015.

We at TTCriders believe that a riders voice must be on the Commission because we are the ones that pay when the Commission raises fares and we are the ones that suffer when service is cut. It is generally known that most elected officials do not take public transit.
