Accessibility and a good rider experience go hand in hand. The TTC should continue improving signage, maps, and real-time information while working with Metrolinx and other agencies to make the broader transit network as consistent and intuitive as possible. Riders should not need to know which agency operates a service to navigate the network, and someone taking a route for the first time or visiting Toronto should be able to readily understand how to get where they are going.

We also need to protect and improve the services that some riders specifically depend on. Door-to-door Wheel-Trans and local services such as the 405 Community Bus should remain available and reliable for people who need them. Timely snow clearing at transit stops is also fundamental to accessibility for seniors, people using mobility devices, parents with strollers, and anyone who may have difficulty navigating snow and ice. A route is of little use to someone who cannot safely reach or board it.
