Phone Bank: September 1st

This event has already taken place.

Premier Ford needs to fix TTC crowding during the COVID-19 pandemic. The province must give the TTC permanent funding, so riders get enough service on buses, streetcars, and subways.

But instead of providing the funding we need, Premier Ford wants cities to cut bus routes, privatize them with companies like Uber, and charge more for longer trips. This will mean higher fares and less service for bus riders, especially in suburban neighbourhoods where more racialized and working class residents live.

Join our campaign for permanent provincial TTC funding! At our phone bank, we will be calling our supporters and patching them through to their local provincial rep (MPP) to leave a message.

You'll need: A phone (cellphone or landline), a computer or tablet, and an internet connection.

NOTE: If you haven't phone banked with us before, we will set up a 20 minute training with you before Tuesday September 1st at 5pm to train you in our phone banking technology.

Just RSVP here and we'll follow up soon! Please RSVP before 4pm on Tuesday September 1st.
