Main Street Subway Station, Northeast corner of Main and Danforth

The 2024 Federal budget left out funding for the TTC. The subway trains on Line 2 are reaching the end of their life and without federal funding for new trains, subway service will become more crowded and less reliable. That means:

• More malfunctions
• More unreliable service
• More shuttle buses

We need our MPs to step up and invest in more reliable, frequent transit service by chipping in for new subway trains and speeding up the Permanent Public Transit Fund.
