Keep the TTC in Toronto's hands! Attend a transit consultation

We have a big opportunity to show just how many people care about keeping the TTC under local control. In the coming weeks, the City of Toronto will hold four public consultations about the province's transit takeover.

MPPs and City Councillors will be watching closely. That's why we'll be at each consultation to ask questions and share information with residents.

Can you attend a transit consultation?

Please RSVP so we can send you a reminder and background info. Our plan is to meet up a bit early so we can pass out information to people who attend.
Thursday June 13, 6:30pm to 8:30pm  Father Serra Catholic School 111 Sun Row Drive, Etobicoke

Thursday, June 20, 6:30pm to 8:30pm North York Memorial Community Hall  5510 Yonge Street, North York

Saturday, June 22, 10:30am to 12:30pm
Scarborough Civic Centre
150 Borough Drive, Scarborough
Thursday, June 27, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. City Hall, Council Chamber 100 Queen Street West, Toronto RSVP: Downtown

Provincial Bill 107 gives the province the power to dictate rapid transit plans, take over TTC and City of Toronto assets without compensation, and open the TTC up to privatization. The province is cutting $1 .1 billion from the TTC over the next 10 years. They have left Waterfront and Eglinton East LRTs off the map and are sending the Relief Line back to the drawing board. But the fight to keep the TTC public, accountable, and well-funded is far from over. We need to show up to the city's four consultations in the coming weeks to show our opposition to the province's plan and ask questions about what it means for the transit we need. Questions?
