"The TTC needs stable, predictable long-term funding so that service levels are not constantly dependent on short-term budget pressures. I support working with the provincial and federal governments for sustained operating and capital funding while ensuring that Toronto continues to have a strong voice in decisions affecting its transit system.
Additional funding should come with accountability. Riders should be able to see improvements in reliability, frequency, safety, accessibility and overall service quality. My priority is a TTC that is properly funded, responsive to local needs, and focused on delivering dependable service for the people who use it every day."
