I support advocating for stable, long-term federal and provincial funding for the TTC. Toronto cannot address major capital needs including state-of-good-repair work, accessibility and safety improvements, slow zones, and responsible transit expansion through the municipal tax base and fares alone. As Councillor, I would work with all levels of government to secure predictable funding while ensuring that investments are transparent, accountable, and focused on reliable service for riders. For Etobicoke North, that also means ensuring transit investment reaches communities that depend heavily on the TTC and have historically had fewer rapid-transit options.
