"For thirty years, Toronto Centre has been my home. I've watched the TTC deteriorate because we treat it like a political football instead of essential infrastructure.
As a person with a disability, I rely on public transit. My work managing large not-for-profits taught me this: when you're accountable to real people relying on your decisions, you stop making excuses. The TTC riders in this ward deserve representation that actually shows up and actually follows through, not another councillor promising change while Queen's Park and City Hall games continue.
I will treat transit like what it is: the operating system this ward runs on. That means fighting for local control, pushing back against deferred maintenance, and holding myself to the same standards I hold the city to.
We deserve fully accessible, fully functioning and affordable public transit."
