"As the candidate who has spent the most amount of time taking transit, working in transit, and listening directly to frontline transit workers, transit is a genuine personal passion of mine. I believe our elected politicians should understand the everyday experiences of the people they represent, including the realities of using public transit. I want to be a Councillor who makes Ward 11 residents and transit riders feel genuinely heard and represented."

"Good transit gives people more freedom in their daily lives. It should make getting to work, school, appointments and community activities easier and more affordable.
The TTC also supports the wider GTA economy, carrying commuters and visitors and helping businesses attract workers and customers. Its funding should reflect those regional benefits. Toronto residents and fare-paying riders should not be expected to carry an unfair share of the costs. I would pursue stronger regional funding arrangements and assess additional revenue options, including provincial sales-tax sharing, a commercial parking levy and contributions from major event organizers toward additional transit service. These options should be assessed for fairness, revenue potential and their effects on affordability and transit use.
My approach is a proactive City Hall that listens, explains and delivers. I would work with riders, TTC workers and accessibility advocates to set practical priorities and track results. Success should be measured by what people experience: shorter waits, dependable journeys, accessible service and feeling safe and welcome."
