Dec 2019 TTC Board Meeting

This our events has already taken place.

The TTC Board is meeting next Thursday, December 16 to approve a 5-year service plan that does not keep up with the transit needs of our city. The TTC is only committing to “explore” dedicated bus lanes on five routes over the next five years. Getting bus lanes and other transit priority measures into the plan is a start - but the language is non-committal, the targets are insufficient, and only 4.3% of the plans capital costs are funded in the TTC’s 2020-2029 Capital Plan [2].

Join us at the TTC Board to tell them to prioritize transit and vote for a bolder plan.

Haven't deputed before? We will provide you with a template, help you write your speech (<3-5 mins) and be there to support you through the process.
