Taking the TTC could be a lot cheaper this year! On February 10, City Councillors will vote on the Mayor’s Budget. If the budget passes, transit riders will win:
- Monthly fare capping: ride free for the rest of the month after 47 trips, reducing to 40 trips in 2027
- The 3rd consecutive year of no fare increases
- Lower wait times and less crowding with more frequent TTC service and Wheel-Trans expansion
- New accessible signage at select stations and stops
- Expansion of Community Crisis Service Workers to the subway transit safer for everyone
