TTCriders will be hosting an information session next Friday March 14th from 10:00am-noon at Brookview Middleschool 4505 Jane St. north of Jane and Finch.

There will be a presentation and discussion period followed by more fun activities. You guessed it: bring your whole family as there will be colouring books for the kids!

Bad Grades for TTC in TTCriders' Report Card

Today, TTCriders released its first ever report card evaluating the TTC’s performance from the perspective of TTC users.

The report card rates the TTC on how well it has done in achieving five goals important to TTC users which are key parts of  TTCriders' Vision: creating fair and affordable fares; building modern, fast transit to all corners of the city as fast as possible; making public transit fully accessible transit; providing frequent service that connects all of Toronto; and environmental sustainability.

Metrolinx Responds to our Letter Regarding the Toronto Transit Expansion plans

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx, Bruce McCuaig, replied to our May 1st Letter regarding Metrolinx's Toronto Transit Expansion plans.

Comment on Eglinton Crosstown PPP Story

TTCriders is concerned with the news reported in the Toronto Star that Metrolinx is considering a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the designing, construction and operation of the proposed Eglinton-Scarborough Crosstown LRT line. We are concerned about how this decision could impact transit users in Toronto. For example,

Public outcry has exploded as Torontonians found out there will be cuts to 56 bus routes and 6 streetcar lines in the wards they travel through because of a 10% budget cut forced by City Hall. As a result, TTCriders issued a letter today asking Councillor Stintz, Chair of the TTC, to help stop the cuts and fare hike.
