Transit group asks Integrity Commissioner to investigate potential conflict of interest related to TTC Board vote about Rogers contract

(Toronto, ON) – Transit advocacy organization TTCriders has complained to Toronto’s Integrity Commissioner about a potential real or apparent conflict of interest related to Julie Osborne, an appointed member of the Toronto Transit Commission.

(Toronto, ON) – Transit advocacy organization TTCriders will hold a rally today at 5:00pm outside Bathurst Subway Station to call on federal Members of Parliament to invest in TTC repairs and new subway trains on Line 2 by accelerating implementation of the Canada Public Transit Fund. MPs invited to sign transit pledge supporting new subway trains, acceleration of Permanent Public Transit Fund

(Toronto, ON) – Transit advocacy organization TTCriders has launched a new campaign to invite federal party leaders and Toronto-area MPs to pledge their support for urgently-needed federal funding for new TTC subway trains on the Bloor-Danforth Line 2. Federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and federal Green Party leader Elizabeth May have both committed to sign the pledge.

Advisory: 250 transit users to gather in Scarborough on Sunday for "Transit Rider Summit"

(Toronto, ON) – Transit advocacy organization TTCriders is set to host a large gathering of transit riders and advocates from across the GTA at the Scarborough Civic Centre on Sunday, June 16. More than 250 people have registered for the free day of workshops and panel discussions.
